Is the oil spill as bad as the radio and TV says it is? I guess shrimp fishermen are really effected by this. Anybody live near there who can comment on the mess?
I would like to know about it too. Maybe I should look it up online.
I'm bored of it already. The volcanic ash was more interesting.
Well we're fourty-five days later so either it's as bad as portrayed or they're just trying to add a little drama to the story. But I won't make any judgment in case the situation is indeed as serious as portrayed or possibly worse. One thing I do know is BP aren't initials to be proud of having. And yes, those are mine, hence where BryanP comes from. And I used to get teased about that even years before the oil spill. And if you add my middle initial J to the mix you could switch them around until you get PB and J. We all know what that stands for LOL. Needless to say that also got old quickly.

Nope, as you said, it's all overplayed. If you go swimming in the gulf now, it'll be just like salt lake: you'll float on some goo, but the goo kinda tastes / smells funny.
All I can say is I'm getting sick of those public service commercials on TV from that Iris Cross chick.
